Our Story

It all started in the common room of our Freshman dorm. Dan was of course glowing in his orange, Wheaton-Warrenville South high school football sweatshirt, but had ambitious goals of transforming his startup, Turnout, into the next Uber for college events. This coupled with Rachel’s haste to leave Chicago and spend the summer in Berlin prevented any initial spark…

Fast forward two years, the 17th ranked, powerhouse of a football team, Northwestern Wildcats were playing Bowling Green when we spotted each other again. Sparks flew and with one crafty Lyft ride-split request, Dan secured Rachel’s phone number and the rest is history.
